It was the day before Boardmasters & I recieved a phonecall from my boyfriend asking if I wanted to go to Boardmasters the next day as he had been given 2 free tickets in work. Of course I replied yes!!
I have never actually been to the main Boardmasters part as it is always sooo expensive & I enjoy the beach sessions & the freebies at Fistral Beach more without paying through the roof for entry! But seeing as they were free,who would say no?!
All we had to do was go to The Co-operative Food tent at 1pm where we got to have a free meal at the Tweet4atable pop-up restaurant. If you're unsure what this is then click on the link or visit their twitter for a chance to win!
After enjoying our Nacho's,Hot Dog's & Chilli Fries we had a wander around the place,chilled at 'The View' listening to the acoustic sets & got myself a personalized coke bottle with my name on it. This was a big deal for me as I haven't yet come across my name on any bottle! Friends then arrived & we continued listening to the acoustic sets with a few ciders before heading over to the Dominoes stall for some pizza before The Enemy came on the Main Stage! They were the only act I really knew playing but we stuck around for Mista Jam & Chase & Status who both put on an awesome set!
I don't think i'd go again unless the line-up consisted of bands I actually enjoyed but for a free day out it was amazing! :)
Whilst listening to the acoustic sets I fell in love with one person in particular named Charlie Hole!
I managed to find him on Spotify today which I was pleased about! So go check him out if you're into acoustic music :) He is also on Twitter.
